An exciting opportunity for a passionate DevOps Engineer has arisen with a leading innovative ICT organisation in Amsterdam.
On a daily basis, the DevOps Engineer will be given the opportunity of managing and developing high-performance, scalable cloud-based solutions and demonstrating their capability of managing and building complex platforms whilst solving technical problems in an autonomous, and flexible company culture.
The DevOps Engineer will have experience working as part of a cross-functional development and cloud operation team, supporting high-availability websites and platforms within enterprise environments using technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible.
It is essential that the DevOps Engineer has a proven track-record in continuous integration, automation, and supporting cross-platform, cross-tier architectural design, inline with defined best practice, and coding/Scripting standards.
To summarise the DevOps Engineer will ideally have experience in the following areas:
Strong hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems
Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools such as Kubernetes
Comprehensive knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, Golang, Bash etc.)
Automation and CI/CD wherever possible (using tools such as Ansible, Git and Terraform)
Experienced stakeholder engagement skills
Thrives working independently and using initiative
It would highly be advantageous if you have experience in or a keen interest with distributed environments and cloud Middleware and/or managing cluster or cloud bases services.
Experience and knowledge of project organisation and project-based working is desirable but not mandatory
